New 45!! The Shakedown (Say Yeah) on Freestyle records
What more can we say – the title track from The Shakedown, ‘The Shakedown (Say Yeah)’ is available from the 20th February 2012 as a lovely 45 (and as a not so covetable, but still funky as hell MP3), courtesy of Freestyle records. Because we believe in value for money, it also features ‘Dragging Me Down’ on the flip.
Available to buy directly from Kudos.
Keeping Norwich warm at winter since 1999
Attention anyone in the vicinity of Norwich on the 11th February 2012. Speedometer make their (pretty much) annual appearance at the Norwich Arts Centre on that night. So, give your central heating a break and come and get warmed up with some funk. In fact the tickets for this are normally so hot, you could buy one, tape it to your mantlepiece and give your central heating a break for the preceding weeks.
Another date!
Another date has been added to our mini-tour in February 2012. On the 23rd, we will be visiting Hoochie Coochie in Newcastle. As with the other dates, this show will feature the one and only Martha High.
Speedometer @ Ronnie Scott’s
Another new date has been added to the list for 2012 – we will be appearing at what is undoubtably London’s most famous venue for live music, Ronnie Scott’s in Soho.
Joining us for the date will be ultra-special guest, Martha High.
Dates for 2012
We’re extremely pleased to say that Speedometer will be returning to Band on the Wall in Manchester and the Wardrobe in Leeds, on the 24th (Manchester) and 25th (Leeds) of February 2012.
These gigs are going to be a must see, as we will be joined by our good friend and absolute legend, Martha High.
Book early, as these shows are sure to sell out!
Advance ticket information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
