Yes, Speedometer are back in the studio, laying down the foundations of a new Martha High album. Further recording will be done while Martha is in the UK following the forthcoming tour. Expect the album and singles in late spring 2012.

New 45!! The Shakedown (Say Yeah) on Freestyle records
What more can we say – the title track from The Shakedown, ‘The Shakedown (Say Yeah)’ is available from the 20th February 2012 as a lovely 45 (and as a not so covetable, but still funky as hell MP3), courtesy of Freestyle records. Because we believe in value for money, it also features ‘Dragging Me Down’ on the flip.

Keeping Norwich warm at winter since 1999
Attention anyone in the vicinity of Norwich on the 11th February 2012. Speedometer make their (pretty much) annual appearance at the Norwich Arts Centre on that night. So, give your central heating a break and come and get warmed up with some funk. In fact the tickets for this are normally so hot, you could buy one, tape it to your mantlepiece and give your central heating a break for the preceding weeks.
